Memoir Editing

You've written your life story, or a big part of it, and now it needs editing. I offer the following types of editing:

Developmental editing: Your manuscript needs help with flow and structure. I may suggest ways to reorganize sections or chapters, or the expansion of parts readers will want to know more about.

Line editing: Your manuscript's structure is sound, but the prose doesn't flow. Line editing looks at sentence structure, not primarily to correct grammar but to attend to your writing's patterns, amplifying or decreasing variety to make it more pleasing to readers.

Copy editing and proofreading: This is the final polish.
